Just blocking the EGR will have some effect on that but removing it completely will. take even longer. It's the 2.2 turbo and when plug in, it's telling me EGR fault. Striped it down and cleaned it. Put 12v's across it and the motor is working fine and winding the piston is to allow the exhaust gases to pass. Cleaned and made sure no water in the cover. ltpw2Kd.
